Welcome to Zimmie’s Bookshelf Club. I’m sure by now you’re asking what exactly is a Zimmie’s Bookshelf Club; and more importantly how much is membership in such a revered and esteemed club going to cost.
Well the answers to each of those questions are very simple.
First Zimmie’s Bookshelf Club is a way for you to build your Trade Paperback and/or Graphic Novels (further refered to as TP/GNs) collection and in the process earn TP/GNs at discounted prices. You can also potentially earn free TP/GNs.
Now the great thing about this club is that it costs you absolutely nothing to join. That is to say that there are no monthly fees, dues or other fees.
Okay by now you’re probably asking yourself “Just how does this Club work and how can I take advantage of it?”
Well it’s quite simple.
Purchase four (4) TPs and /or GNs priced (19.99 or higher) in a one (1) month period and your fifth (5th) TP/ GN (priced 19.99 or less) may be purchased at fifty percent (50%) off cover price. In addition each successive TP/GN priced (19.99 or higher) you purchase after the fifth one (in a two (2) month period) is done so at five percent (5%) off cover price.
Purchase nine (9) TP/GNs priced (19.99 or higher) in a two month (2) period and receive a TP/ GN (priced 19.99 or less) free.
Yes you read that right. It’s not some Super-villain induced hallucination or the reality-warping effects of some Evil-scientist’s experiment gone horribly wrong.
Simply put the more TP/GNs you purchase the more you can purchase at discounted prices; not to mention the free TP/GNs you can get.
By now you may be asking are there any other benefits to joining such an exclusive club. The answer is a resounding yes.
When you join Zimmie’s Bookshelf Club you will be asked to list up to six (6) Comic-books and anytime a Trade Paperback or Graphic Novel of a comic-book on your list is solicited in Previews we will send you an e-mail letting you know far in advance of the actual release thus allowing you plenty of time to pre-order your favorite TP or GN.
Also each month there will be a Featured TP/GN section (located on the top shelf of the New Release rack) members of Zimmie’s Bookshelf Club may purchase any of these TP/GN’s at five (5%) off the cover price; and yes featured TP/GN’s count toward the amount needed to purchase TP/GNs at fifty (50%) off cover price and free TP/GNs.
Now that you’re on the verge of joining such a renowned club a new question comes to mind; “How do I keep track of how many TP/GNs I’ve purchased.
The answer is with the high-tech membership card you shall receive once you decide to become a member of Zimmie’s Bookshelf Club.
“Wait you’re saying that in addition to all the other benefits already mentioned I also get a high-tech membership card that keeps track of my TP/GN purchases. How does it work?”
Simple; every time you purchase a TP or GN priced (19.99 or higher) we will punch out one of the Zimmie’s Z’s on your card. When four (4) Z’s have been punched you are now eligible to purchase a TP/GN at the discounted price stated above. When nine (9) Z’s are punched on your membership card then you are eligible for a free TP/GN as stated above.
Now you’re probably saying to yourself “That doesn’t sound all that high-tech.” Trust us, it is.
*Important-
1. One (1) month shall be a period of four (4) consecutive weeks.
2. Similarly two (2) months shall be a period of eight (8) consecutives week.
3. Any eligible TP/GN purchases made in the first month that do not meet the requirements to purchase a TP/GN at fifty percent (50%) off may be carried over into the second (2) month.
4. At the end of a two (2) month cycle any eligible TP/GN purchases made that do not meet the requirements needed for either the discounted or free TP/GN may not be carried over into the next two (2) month cycle.
5. You may cancel membership at anytime, free of charge.
